These four settings and the house style are kept in this browser's local storage and are never sent anywhere. This site has not been audited against WCAG, so it does not claim a conformance level; these are working controls, not a badge.
Licensed agents
A book of business is a renewal commission stream attached to a set of households. It can be valued, audited, migrated and sold. Software that models it as rows in a contact table cannot do any of those things.
Renewal season
Every autumn a share of your book is not renewed, and the issuer files a crosswalk naming the successor plan. Run one here: enter the plan ID, the ZIP code and the year you are coming from, and the widget prices the successor against a real household beside the plan being left behind.
Fourteen characters, printed on the member card and on Form 1095-A. For example 53882IL0040002 - which reads as four facts, not a serial number:
Pricing is county-level, so a ZIP that crosses a county line has to be resolved before the crosswalk runs.
The crosswalk maps forward one plan year from the year you choose.

Migration
A CSV. An agency-management export. A folder of carrier commission statements and a spreadsheet you have been maintaining since 2019. All of it is normal, and all of it is workable.

The platform
Every feature here exists because an agent lost money without it. There is no dashboard of vanity metrics, because a book does not need one.
Household records
One record per household, not one per policy. Dependants, prior plan years, notes, consents and documents live on the same page, and a policy is an event on the record rather than the record itself.
Quoting desk
Four plans side by side, the subsidy applied live as you change the income estimate, and network and formulary matching that runs before the price column is drawn.
Renewal desk
Every November, your book is re-ranked by exposure rather than alphabetically. Households whose benchmark moved, whose plan was discontinued, or whose credit fell come to the top.
Compliance
FFM registration, resident and non-resident licences, carrier appointments and continuing education, each with a hard gate rather than a soft warning.
Commission
ACA commission is almost entirely per member per month. It is filed inside the carrier's rate, which is why a broker costs a consumer nothing, and why the schedule is a public fact rather than a negotiation.

Assumes 2.1 covered lives per household and a full twelve months in force. Real books churn, and churn is the number that decides whether a book grows.
We charge a flat fee per household per year and never touch the commission stream.1 If we took a percentage, our incentive would be to grow your book rather than to keep it, and those are not the same job.
Compliance
Assisting with a Marketplace enrolment without current FFM registration is not a policy question, so it is not modelled as one.

You export whatever you have - a CSV, an agency-management export, or a stack of carrier commission statements - and the desk normalises it into household records, reconciles it against the carrier statements line by line, and hands back a list of anything that did not match. No turnaround time is quoted on this demonstration, because the firm is invented and has never run one. Consent records and notes carry across; nothing is silently dropped.
No. Ledger & Co charges a flat platform fee per household per year and never touches the commission stream. Carrier payments go to your NPN, on the carrier's own schedule, and the reconciliation queue exists to make sure they arrive in full. If we took a percentage, our incentive would be to grow your book rather than to keep it.
You do. Full export in a machine-readable format is available every day of the contract, including consent records and the note log, and there is no exit fee and no notice period on export. A platform that holds your book hostage is competing on lock-in rather than on the product.

Yes. Hierarchy is modelled explicitly - agency splits and upline overrides appear as their own rows on every statement rather than being netted invisibly into a single figure. Downline agents see their own book and their own compensation, and never the hierarchy above them.
